Melinda and Jeff hanging out in Wailea, Maui

Flights

Please use the Kahului Airport (Airport Code: OGG) for flights.

Car Rental

A car rental is a must to get around the island. Most major cities on Maui are about 25 minutes apart (due to low speed limits).

Lodging

Please Book EARLY!!!!

Due to the small number of attendees we have not booked a room block. Our immediate families are staying in rented condos. Accommodations in Maui are plentiful, but they sell out early. Maui is a place that caters to visitors and you will not be disappointed. Wedding festivities are in South Maui.  This is near the town of Kihei and Wailea. We recommend that you look for condos to rent as they are a great value. Many one-bedroom condos have a pull out couch (which sleeps four) and runs about $100-$150 a night. These are usually not on the beach, but they often have beach views and are within walking distance to the ocean. They almost always include a small kitchen and living room/dining room.

Another great way to find a reasonable place to stay is through priceline.com. We have used them countless times. They will outline every location's amenities and will allow you to pick a place that is comfortable for you. Some options that we have stayed at or show availability include:

Aston Maui Hill (starting at $140 per night)
Aston Maui Banyon (starting at $120 per night)
Day's Inn Maui (starting at $114 per night)
Maui Vista Condos (starting at $123 per night on Priceline)
Maui Coast Hotel (starting at $195 per night)

For a resort stay, check out Makena Beach and Golf Resort. They offer free wifi and free parking. They have a nightly rate of about $250 and it is located right on the ocean. They sometimes offer special discounts (such as $150 per night) if you sign up for their email list.

There are dozens of other options and this is just a small list to get you started. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
