Melinda and Jeff enjoying SNUBA off of The Pride of Maui boat excursion.

We loved spending some time with our guests doing a few fun activities before the wedding. In the days leading up to the wedding, we had a few activities for our guests to optionally join us with:

Saturday, June 18

Join us at the beach, a cliff dive ceremony, and for dinner!

Come join us for as much (or little) time as you can. We'll be breaking our day into three parts and we would love to hang out with you at all three of them. Show up whenever you can!

1. Beach Day
Why go all the way to Maui and not spend some time on the beach? Melinda and Jeff will be arriving at Black Rock Beach in Ka'anapali, Maui starting at 1:30pm. This beautiful, white sand beach is located in Northern Maui at the Sheraton Hotel. It's a WONDERFUL spot for snorkeling, and seeing sea turtles is very common. If you're feeling daring, you can even jump off the rock wall into the ocean! We'll provide some drinks to help you stay cool after you arrive.

Here are some things you'll probably want to bring with you:
    Reef/Water Shoes
    Umbrella
    Beach Towel
    Sunscreen
    Snorkeling Gear
    Sunglasses
    Hat
    Waterproof Camera
    Snacks

When you arrive, come meet us by the bright orange clownfish windsock that will be set up. Here's what it'll look like:

2. Sunset Cliff Dive Ceremony
As the day turns to sunset, our spot on the beach will turn into front row seats for the cliff dive ceremony held daily. Relax and watch this free, short show with us.

3. Fish and Chips Dinner
At this point we'll all be getting pretty hungry for dinner. Melinda and Jeff will be heading to get some casual dinner at a favorite island spot of ours. It's bit of a drive away, but it'll bring us back to South Maui where we'll be staying (and closer to where we will be getting married). But, please, buy some fish and chips and eat on the benches on the outside patio with us.

We will board the Pride of Maui for a 5-hour snorkeling trip, with a stop at Molokini Crater and "Turtle Town". No doubt, you'll be swimming with the sea turtles in no time! You can even try SNUBA with no prior experience (we did this once and it was so fun!) The trip will include a light breakfast, a BBQ lunch, and a cocktail hour (with cookies!) on the return trip back to shore.
